About Teddington Artists
Teddington Artists are a lively group of professional artists who live and work in the local area. They meet regularly to exchange ideas, provide artistic support and promote a high quality of work.
THERE IS SOMETIMES A VACANCY FOR A NEW MEMBER OR INVITED ARTIST. If you are interested, please contact the Chairman for more details.
The group was founded in 1990 by the noted botanical artist Ann Swan, and over this period many celebrated artists have exhibited with them. Due to the relocation of several original members we have recently been able to introduce some exciting new talent. Teddington Artists strive to show a wide degree of diversity in both their media and styles. To maintain a varied show we invite guest artists to exhibit with us. In 2009 year we welcomed local artists with considerable reputations in their own right, as well as two sculptors from Dorset who have Teddington connections. In 2010 we had Jim Woodman and renowned Rebecca Lardner whose quirky art is well loved and widely collected. We also welcomed back Anna Tikhomirova whose work was much admired last year.
