Anouschka Hutton
Anouschka Hutton trained at Leicester and Birmingham Colleges of Art and Design. She worked at the Open University and Martin Cadbury Printing Company. Later she set up a themeing company, Desired Effect, which decorated London Hotels for prestigious corporate functions. Thus she moved from book-sized graphics to vast band backdrops 12 metres long and 8 metres high. Now she paints on a slightly smaller scale.
Aims
Anouschka explores organic forms, the minutiae of nature rather than rolling landscapes. She is interested in the inexhaustible invention of nature – the imperfections, the twists and turns, bends and folds, from the tendrils to the seedpods. She finds each element of organic matter from a bright new shoot to the dark undergrowth is a treasure trove of possibility.
