Catherine Ball

Work ranges from life drawings, to hand built and thrown ceramic pieces with Raku and oxide glazes. Catherine has been a ceramist for over 25 years and drawing on herĀ  vast experience changed the direction of her work when she moved to Teddington in 2007. She now concentrates on Raku, the ancient Japanese method of firing clay. She produces representative fish, abstract and thrown pieces and torso which she models from her life drawings.
