“Avril Vellacott attended the House of Commons to unveil her bronze head of Jeremy Thorpe. “Jeremy Thorpe was an excellent sitter and had the ideal face for a portrait sculpture because of his fine bone structure.
He sat for the sculptor in the House of Commons office. Avril feels very honoured that the work now joins the Parliamentary Art Collection”. 2009
