About Us

Teddington Artists

Teddington Artists are a lively group of professional artists who live and work in the local area. They meet regularly to exchange ideas, provide artistic support and promote a high quality of work. The main focus of their year is the annual exhibition  which has been held in many lovely venues: Bushy House, Bushy Park, The Atrium at The National Physical Laboratories, Hampton House School, Normansfield Hospital.

The group was founded in 1990 by the noted botanical artist Ann Swan, and over this period many celebrated artists have exhibited with us. Teddington Artists strive to show a wide degree of diversity in both their media and styles. To maintain a varied show we invite guest artists to exhibit with us.

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR NEW ARTISTS TO JOIN THE GROUP.

The group is necessarily limited to a certain number but we do welcome enquiries about joining us.

NEW MEMBERS: We keep to a small group but occasionally vacancies for new members arise.

INVITED ARTISTS: Every year our exhibition includes two to four Invited Artists. You do not necessarily have to be local to Teddington but we do look for art which is professional and will enhance our exhibition.

If you are interested, please contact the Chair, John Walsh for more details.
