Emma Champion is an experimental photographer and mixed media artist working primarily with darkroom materials using cameraless techniques.
Drawing on her background as a photographic printer, Emma's unique approach pushes the boundaries of photography by exploring the interaction of light and photosensitive materials. Her monochromatic work includes photograms and luminograms created by casting shadows and reflections onto silver gelatin paper.
Driven by the desire to immortalise fleeting moments, Emma creates unique and captivating pieces which turn transience into permanence, inviting viewers to contemplate the ephemeral beauty that surrounds us.
