Many of the Twickenham artist’s paintings have been inspired by foreign travel, but recently, her sketchbook drawings have been done in local venues, with familiar and unusual views and walks. The Thames and its riverside, parks and buildings, hold a continual fascination, together with visits to the Dorset coast.
She enjoys drawing, mixing media and experimenting with the fluid movement of watercolour contrasting with the texture and marks of pastel and acrylic.
