Jude Wild

Mixed Media Artist

Jude’s mixed media work is inspired by the beauty, diversity and history of place.  Through a combination of digital imagery and painterly techniques she seeks to capture the feeling, atmosphere and essence of a place and aims to inspire an emotional response from the viewer through the use of chromatic harmony, complimentary colours, texture and strong design.

This current series is inspired by different aspects of the Richmond and Kingston area with it’s unique combination of tranquil natural beauty and historic narrative.

Jude originally trained at art school as a theatre designer and spent many years as a professional designer of both sets and costumes. Since leaving the theatre she completed a short course in Drawing & Painting at Slade School of Fine Art, UCL and gained a Post Graduate Certificate in History of Art & Architecture at Birkbeck, University of London.

She has exhibited widely in south west and central London including Orlean’s House Gallery, The Fountain Gallery, The Landmark Centre Teddington, The Riverside Gallery, The Stables Gallery, The Lightbox Woking, The Menier Gallery, 54 The Gallery Mayfair, The Herrick Gallery Piccadilly and The Affordable Art fair Battersea.
